Bárbara Miñarro has finally decided to follow her teenage dreams! Enter Breakfast Friend. For as long as she can remember, Bárbara has been fascinated by handbags and purses—sourcing, altering, and giving them new life. Now, she’s bringing that passion full circle with a sustainable brand that features hand-painted purses alongside carefully curated vintage finds.
With a Bachelor in Fine Arts and a background as a contemporary artist, Bárbara transforms each piece in small batches from her home studio in San Antonio, TX. Every purse tells a story, whether a vintage treasure or a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted creation.

That's why It is very important for me to support these amazingly talented people by letting them set their own fair prices and thus breaking the cycle a bit at a time. We work towards reducing waste and minimizing our environmental impact by giving products a second life. Some of our accessories like our scrunchies are made from ‘leftover’ fabrics that otherwise would be thrown away.
We also work with vintage handbags that we know are made from high quality materials and give them a second life.
